Description

The Columbus Historical Society was founded in 1990 by a group of avid professional and amateur local historians with a passion to share Columbus history. They identified a need to provide The Society was formed to protect and share the history of the broader community, with an emphasis on the core city and county environs. CHS works closely with other local historical organizations to cross promote activities, education, events, preservation, programs, and publications offered throughout the community.

The Columbus Historical Society (CHS) was founded in 1990, and has become one of the premier non-profit cultural organizations in Central Ohio.
