About Columbus State Columbus State Community College has been dedicated to meeting the educational needs of our community for more than 40 years. The College has grown from an initial enrollment of 67 students in 1963, to its current thriving campus of more than 23,000 students.Columbus State's Career & Technical Programs division offers two-year career programs in more than 55 areas of business, health, public service, human service, and engineering technologies. Students can also take the first two years of their bachelor's degree here through our College of Arts and Science , then transfer to a four-year college.Our Community Education and Workforce Development division offers continuing education classes, licensure courses and personal enrichment courses. Online courses fall under Distance Learning , and programs for high school students fall under K-12 Initiatives .
