With over twenty years of professional and management experience serving local governments and small businesses, Diane brings a strong understanding of finance, economic development and organizational management to ComBiz Solutions. Her extensive experience in local government finance and management includes serving as Assistant City Manager, Director of Economic Development, Director of Finance and Budget Administrator. She has been responsible for developing and managing annual operating budgets in excess of $170 million and capital budgets exceeding $250 million. Diane also managed a public information campaign during an unprecedented drought. This local disaster provided her with significant experience developing and implementing strategies in crisis situations. Diane has negotiated numerous economic development public/private partnerships. She understands the importance of communication and citizen involvement in dealing with community issues. Diane received her B.A. in Business Management from Mary Baldwin College and her M.A.L.S. in Economics from Hollins University.
