August 2009 My name is Larry Johnson and I came to the Discovery Christian Church Family in October 2004 as it's Lead Minister and Church Planter. I am married to my beautiful wife Glenda and I have seven children. Two of our children are married and one has gone to be with the Lord. We have four grandchildren, ages 4, 3, 15 months, and 14 months. The picture below is of my entire family taken at a recent camp week. I have worked in Public Service for all of my adult life. I served as an EMT and Paramedic with several ambulance companies and fire departments before a career with the Maryland State Police. I retired from MSP and was able to move into full-time ministry. I love the Eastern Shore and it's people. It is my vision that with God's help, Discovery Christian Church can continue to grow to be a vital loving group of Christians who are committed to helping lives be changed by sharing God's Love and Truth with our community.
