Located in Lawrence, Kansas, Comfy Concepts manufactures and distributes patient comfort items, originally designed specifically for the dental health industry. The company was founded in 1977 in Lawrence by Dr. Patrick Moriarty. Dr. Moriarty worked with a team of designers and dental health specialists to develop the original Comfy Natural Solutions product line. The products were premiered at dental conventions, i.e. Chicago, San Francisco, Kansas City, Anaheim, and quickly became a "must have item" in dental offices throughout the US.

For over 18 years Comfy Concepts has been manufacturing products for the health industry that help address patients' unspoken needs. When you use our products, you demonstrate your concern for your patients' comfort and well-being.

We provide health industry professionals with tools to meet the comfort needs of their patients. Instead of offering hundreds of products, from floor cleaners to dental chairs, we concentrate exclusively on items that allow you to "go the extra mile" for your patient.

I was walking through the Chicago Midwinter Meeting with Rhonda (my dental assistant and an assistant editor of Dental Economics) late in the afternoon. We had been on the exhibit floor all day looking for new products to try and really were dragging when we came upon the Comfy Concepts booth. As we stood in front of the both, they draped a soft, lightweight, flexible wrap around our necks. The wrap was heated and the warmth seemed to permeate and relax all the muscles of my neck and shoulders. It felt wonderful.
