Commercial Distribution Center is just such a place and is perfectly situated in the Heart of America for centralized storage and distribution services.Built in 1974, CDC is located in Independence, Missouri, within a structure that resulted from the mining of millions of tons of limestone starting in 1922. This underground environment ensures no exposure to rain, snow or sun and offers many advantages for storing and distributing products. CDC maintains a natural temperature of 58 degrees F. year round, making it less expensive to maintain freezer and other refrigeration temperatures. These energy savings reduce operating costs and are passed on to customers. The result is greater cost efficiency.CDC is unique in that it can handle so many different customer needs. Our facility has its own rail line and engine to accommodate up to 40 rail cars. Having our own engine speeds up the process of switching rail cars and lets us handle your shipments quickly.
