Description

Our RN, who is our Health Services Supervisor, oversees our nurses in Greenville and Sherman. The nurse in Sherman also serves as Program Coordinator for our consumers in that area. We have two Case Managers with combined experience of 25+ years working with individuals with disabilities. One of our Case Managers is a Licensed Social Worker. She has worked with Lubbock Regional MHMR Center and with children's programs and has vast experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Our other Case Manager has worked at a private residential facility for individuals with mental health issues. Both of these individuals have been with Community Access for over 5 years.

Community Access provides HCS services throughout North Texas. Our consumers live in a variety of settings including homes we provide, their own family homes, foster care settings and independently in apartments. Currently we have residential homes in Greenville and Sherman , and we provide foster care and in-home support in all other areas. We provide services to individuals of all ages including children and senior adults. Whether your needs are residential, foster care or in-home support, give us a call. The East Texas Region has several long term employees who have continued to dedicate themselves to providing excellent services. Our HCS/QA Coordinator Debbie Grigsby has been with us for 12 years and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in business administration. She has 27 years of experience working from State School , MRMR Centers and State Hospitals to the private sector starting out as a direct care staff. Ed Nixon is originally from Pennsylvania and has a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He came to Community Access in 1994. Ed is the director of our ICF-IDD/QA program for the Tyler region. Paula Rigsby, our Personnel Director and Risk Management chairman has also been with the company for 14 years and strives to ensure that quality direct care staff is hired. Our Case Managers, QMRP's and direct care staff have also been instrumental in ensuring quality services are delivered, with some having been with Community Access up to 12 years.

Community Work Force of Texas offers assistance to individuals to help improve the quality of their lives. We provide a wide range of services designed to help people take part in the social, employment and recreational life of the communities in which they live.

Our current Residential Program includes a 6 bed ICF/IDD ladies home located in Dallas. We also have 4 HCS homes located in Mesquite, Grand Prairie and Arlington, TX. In addition, we provide services to individuals in their own family homes as well as in foster care settings.
