Description
According to Derrick Len Span, national president of the Community Action Partnership, "Poverty is no one's fault, but everyone's fight." That message will be the focus of the Partnership's 2005 Annual Convention, August 30-September 2 at the New Orleans Marriott. This convention represents the largest gathering of Community Action Agency (CAA) professionals in the country who fight poverty on the local level. It is part of the Partnership's ongoing campaign to heighten awareness of the growing plague of American poverty.
