Community Action Program

Description

Community Action of Eastern Iowa, a nonprofit corporation established in 1966, is the designated Community Action Agency for Scott, Clinton, Cedar and Muscatine Counties in Iowa. The purpose of the corporation is to provide services and assistance to low-income, elderly and handicapped persons, and to engage in other activities to alleviate or eliminate poverty through developing employment opportunities, improving human performance, motivation and productivity, and bettering the conditions under which people live, learn and work.
