Description

Mercy CarePlus's primary function is as a Medicaid HMO for Missouri. It is one of seven contracted vendors providing MC+ services in Missouri. On July 1, 2006, St. Louis-based Community CarePlus merged with Mercy MC+ part of the Sisters of Mercy Health System to form Mercy CarePlus. Combined, the plan now serves approximately 80,000 members in Eastern, Central and Western regions of Missouri. Our network includes 4,200 Physicians, 41 Hospitals, and 250 ancillary providers. Mercy CarePlus is committed to delivering quality, affordable health insurance to its target markets through a motivated, well-trained work force and an easily accessible, quality health care provider network.
