Community Consulting Services provides training and technical assistance to non-profit organizations and community groups. We help groups work together more effectively to improve quality of life and well-being--resulting in healthier individuals, families, and communities. Specialized expertise in neighborhood development and youth organizing makes Community Consulting Services unique. Community Organizing has become recognized as an important part of the community development approach to substance abuse and violence prevention. Ms. Krom has extensive experience in community coalition building as a means to prevent alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse. She has helped neighborhood groups become organized and young people to form peer education groups in their schools and communities. Fundraising, conflict resolution, communication skills and leadership development are all important components of a healthy communities initiative.
