In June of 1928, a group of investors met to form the Community Building & Loan Association of Staunton, VA. After many years, this organization has grown to become the Community Bank of today. Community Bank has eight offices serving the Virginia communities of Staunton, Waynesboro, Stuarts Draft, Verona, Raphine and Virginia Beach. The commitment to providing financial services from a locally owned and operated base remains as strong today as it was in 1928. The motto, “Our Name Really Does Say It All” best describes Community Bank’s attitude toward serving it’s local communities and the people who live there.
