Prime minus 1/4% ( The Prime Rate as published in the Wall Street Journal -.25%) is available on loans of $25,000+ with a loan to value (LTV) of 80% or less. This includes a .25% discount received when payments are automatically deducted from a Community Financial checking account. Actual rate will be determined by credit history, LTV and the amount borrowed. Minimum rate 4.0%. Maximum Rate 18.0%. There are no closing costs to establish a HELOC but property insurance is required at the member's expense. A $300 cancellation fee is charged to all accounts closed within the first 24 months. The annual fee of $50 is waived the first year and on all accounts with balances of $20,000 or more. Rates information as of 7/2004 and subject to change.
