Description

About Us Overview Community Physical Therapy & Associates was founded in 1986 by Bob Tripicchio, MS, PT, on the premise that people are the most important asset of any organization. For years, CPT was devoted exclusively to the delivery of home care services, but in 1996 expanded to include an on-site Medicare certified out-patient clinic and staffing/management of skilled nursing facility rehab departments. In 1999, a Wellness division was added to emphasize the need for overall well being and preventative medicine. Despite this expansion, CPT has remained focused on building a practice that creates value for patients and payers. Our purpose is not to maximize the number of treatments but instead to maximize the capabilities of our employees and leverage the best rehabilitation knowledge possible. We can then provide optimal clinical outcomes at the most appropriate resource level. CPT is also committed to creating new approaches to health care delivery by proactively managing care using well defined protocols that demand accountability. We provide a sophisticated information system which tracks clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and costs so that we as professionals have the opportunity to make positive changes in our approach to patient care. Our practice continuously expands upon the knowledge we have secured, using it as a catalyst to further growth and development of the rehabilitation profession. In conclusion, we believe that CPT is unique from other rehab practices in that we have a dedicated management team of experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds. These people are ready and able to help you meet your operating needs both quickly and effectively and to assist with any special projects you may have. We are proud that several of our managers have held offices within the American Physical therapy Association, the Illinois Physical Therapy Association and the National Association for Home Care. This allows CPT to keep current with changes in the industry as they occur and to help set the standards for appropriate rehab care. Our Vision To work together as a team, providing and stimulating improvement of the whole while fostering individuality and professional growth. Our Mission CPT will be the leader in rehabilitation services by focusing on learning, teaching, research, outcome studies and patient focused care involving employees at all levels. We will foster a professional, ethical and legal environment for the practice of physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies, while promoting these professions as an essential component of health care. Our Beliefs CPT will foster and promote:
