Community Visiting Nurse

Description

Our physical therapists help you to improve your strength and balance, increasing your ability to move safely and to walk. Our PTs also help patients learn to safely use walkers, canes, wheelchairs or prostheses. We provide home safety evaluations and teach fall-prevention methods. We specialize in working with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients and their caregivers.

Families who are caring at home for loved ones who may be experiencing a range of issues, from minor memory loss to full dementia, can turn for help to Community VNA. We are a compassionate agency that is skilled and highly experienced in caring for individuals with these special needs. At Community VNA, our specially trained and understanding staff is experienced in providing the extra support needed by caregivers to care for their loved one and to learn more about the caregiver skills they need.

Currently, we are not able to provide services that involve dental lab work such as new dentures, partials and crowns. Patients needing these services will be referred to Dental Schools for dentures and similar restorative work.

Private Care - Help at Home, offers clients a range of services that can include medical, non-medical and household assistance. Our mission is to fulfill each client's wish and help our clients to be more comfortable, safer and more independent at home.
