CGS is a Pennsylvania-based organization, whose directors have focused on ground modification since the 1980's. Our team, which includes Professional Engineers, boasts over 35 years of combined geotechnical and engineering experience.
CGS teamed up with Schnabel Foundation Company to provide emergency sinkhole repair on North Gulf Road. This area had a history of sinkholes and was repetitively repaired. The state chose compaction grouting as the ground modification technique that would repair the sinkholes, reduce the risk of additional sinkhole occurrence, stabilize the soils, lift the settled Abrams Run Bridge and provide support for the bridge foundation.
