Compart's Elite Genes A.I. is a family owned and operated A.I. center offering Duroc, York and Landrace boars. The boars available to you are the same sires we are using in our nucleus herds and gilt multiplication farms. For health and biosecurity reasons, some farms are moving back to internal multiplication of their own replacement females. Here is an excellent opportunity for producers to access our maternal York and Landrace boars to realize the production advantages of Compart genetics.

For over 50 years customers have relied on Comparts for practical, sound, performance oriented breeding stock. Since its inception, the Compart Program has been built around performance testing.

In fact, we were the first breeders in Minnesota to start an on-farm performance testing program, and were very involved with progeny testing at the Minnesota Swine Evaluation Station at New Ulm, MN.

Comparts offer two levels of health, either conventional or SPF.Our breeding stock is raised in total confinement facilities similar to modern commercial production. All farms are monitored monthlyto meet state and federal health regulations. The Compart family has been recognized for years as the largest producer of Nationally Accredited SPF breeding stock in the United States. Quarterly slaughter inspections and herd visits are required to be part of the National SPF program.
