Over time Ms. Clark, seeing the results they were achieving with their patients came to realize that the organization could have a much greater impact with this patient population if they were to cease competing with other MLD therapists in the area. She had the vision of now working along side all the various therapists throughout the region, educating and supplying to those therapists the products which had proven over the years to be so effective. The problem that exists for the therapist is that they are not able to bill for these products which are necessary both while the patients is in therapy and at the conclusion of their therapy. Hospitals and clinics were loosing money because they had to give product away and the patients were loosing out because they were unable to obtain the necessary equipment for long-term care and maintenance. Compression Management Services, Inc. being a durable medical equipment company was able to step in, provide the appropriate products for the specific patient and bill the patient's insurance company for those products.
