Description
Generally speaking, we require 3 to 5 years of hands-on programming experience and experience with at least two languages and/or operating systems. This experience must be in a full-time business environment. Experience with Microsoft products is desired and Unix/Linux, C, and shell script experience is a plus, as is experience with SQL Server or Informix databases. Computer Applications Corporation is a well established, Memphis based computer applications consulting firm primarily involved in IT systems development.
Computer Applications Corporation was initially formed as a consulting partnership between John Cox and Francis Keller in 1973, and the firm was incorporated as Cox & Keller, Inc., in 1976. Kenneth Gregg joined the firm in 1978, thus completing the management team. The name was changed to Computer Applications Corporation in 1980 to better reflect the broadening scope of the organization. Drawing on the varied backgrounds of its staff, Computer Applications Corporation offers extensive experience in essentially all areas of computer applications and with most major platforms and languages.
For over 30 years, Computer Applications Corporation has been a Memphis based software development and consulting firm, providing applications development, contract programming, and consulting services. With engagements primarily in the Mid-South area, CAC® clients include Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, as well as medium and smaller sized organizations with more demanding Information Technology requirements.
