Computer Input understands that documentation is key to managing a state-of-the-art cable plant. Our in-house CAD (computer aided design) capabilities ledgibly depict jack identification numbers and communication outlet locations. Upon project completion, all test results are delivered to the client on electronic media. As-built drawings are reviewed during a walk-through to facilitate a smooth hand-off to the new owners. At Computer Input , the job is not finished until our customer is completely satisfied and in control of the cabling system.

Relocating to South Florida in 1981, Mr. Russell worked as a computer technician, interfacing micro-computers with printers and other often incompatible peripheral devices. At that time, each manufacturer of micros and main-frames used their own proprietary system. This experience led to the Senior Engineering position at a custom cable-assembly plant, where he designed and prototyped every style of data cable currently in use throughout the industry.
