The Computer Lady’s web site was really showing it’s age and neglect. SOOOO I decided no problem I’ll just trash it and setup something really cool in a day or two. Yeah right. It’s been a month now and this is my first post, which I’m only doing so there will be something on the site. What I’ve learned: 1. All of my great ideas are much more difficult to put into reality than I ever thought possible. 2. How can over four hours have gone by while I was trying to figure out one little perplexing problem. 3. Take care of the big stuff first 4. Add the cool stuff as time allows and get it done right 5. Take one step at a time (I didn’t and now have about 20 things in various stages of completion and nothing is actually finished.) 6. Periodically do some deep breathing exercises to prevent computer from being flung out the window. 7. Sometimes hiring a professional is a much better choice. If you are a small business owner contemplating setting up your own website or blog, PLEASE take a moment and review what I’ve learned. It just might save you a lot of time and a great deal of stress.
