Description

The Computer Recycling Center was organized as a Missouri Corporation on September 4, 2001. In six years we have become the leader in e-waste recycling in the state of Missouri. We are currently processing over 58 ton of e-waste a month. We estimate this to double over the next two years. The Computer Recycling Center currently processes e-waste with a staff of 12 employees. We do not use third party vendors for the demanufacturing or shipping of processed components. All E-Waste is demanufactured in house, to retain control and limit liability concerns. The Computer Recycling Center will provide a Certificate of Destruction for any e-waste upon request. All CRT's (computer monitors and televisions) are transported to the Doe Run Company in Boss, Missouri. Doe Rune holds a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Part B permit, issued by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. For over five years we have maintained a contract with the Doe Run Company to recycle our leaded glass. A copy of our contract is available upon request. It is our opinion that the improper disposal of CRT's poses the greatest liability. Other recycled components, like tin, wire, printed circuit boards, et cetera, are recycled through selected vendors, including Dideon Orf Recycling, Rolla, MO, ECS Refining, Terrel, TX and Commercial Metals Company, Springfield, MO. All vendors undergo extensive research before being utilized. ...
