Fireworks!!! Um yeah . . . so the fireworks in Washington are amazing. I don't mean the "go to a big show and watch" fireworks. I mean the "let's sit in the backyard and watch the fireworks" fireworks. I live on a hill and the guys at the top are at war with the guys at the bottom to see who can do the best show. Now, they aren't choreographed . . . but they are fun to watch and they run from about 8pm to almost midnight. I mean, literally, there were rockets going off in all directions and the valley below us looked like a sea of fire.
