Our Company Claims Service International ("CSI") was originally founded as Claims by Donna in Florida in 2004. CSI has been providing Claims and Arbitration Services, Training for Sales Representatives and Dispatch Departments, Tariff Publishing, and customized Contract Forms for moving companies nationwide. CSI is currently processing claims for many carriers from the West coast, Midwest and East coast and is continuing to grow steadily while maintaining the quality of work and personal approach we are known for.

CSI services the valued customers of moving companies nationwide. As such CSI considers both the movers and their customers as its customers. It is our mission to provide quality and courteous customer service as well as vast industry knowledge which will exceed all expectations.

Who we are CSI is a third party claims company hired by carriers in order to provide free and professional claims processing services to its customers who may have experienced Loss, Damage, Delay, or Overcharge during their relocation. CSI collects information from both the carriers and their customers in order to determine settlement amounts per the carrier's legal liability as detailed in the carrier's governing Bill of Lading and applicable tariff and in conjunction with federal law.

In closing, enhancing our system in this matter will decrease the time spent processing each claim and will allow us to continue providing courteous customer service and personal attention to both the carriers and their valued customers. Outsourcing your claims to us will allow you to focus on your business goals and expertise and keep the professionalism of your business maintained even while you work to expand.

Once your goods are loaded, your mover is contractually bound to provide the service described in the bill of lading. Your mover's only defense for not providing the service on the dates called for is the defense of force majeure. This is a legal term. It means that when circumstances change, were not foreseen, and are beyond the control of your mover, preventing your mover from performing the service agreed to in the bill of lading, your mover is not responsible for damages resulting from its nonperformance.
