As the client base expanded heavily to northern New Jersey, in 1969, the company moved to Clifton, New Jersey. In 1986 the company name was changed to Comtex, Incorporated The client base was vastly increased to many national and Fortune 500 companies. In 1988, expanding beyond its current building capacity, Comtex relocated operations to the 40,000+ sq. ft. Comtex Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
