Description
In 2004 Conetic Resources was asked to provide assistance to Forerunner Engineering in developing the materials handling concepts for the Lamar Colorado Coal Repowering Project. We assisted in providing preliminary budgetary pricing for a Continental Crushing and Conveying HAC ® vertical conveying solution to load coal to a silo from a train dump location. In 2005 we brought in the TEP Group to assist in providing a detailed project cost estimate following a bidding effort by Forerunner that produced unacceptable pricing for the ARPA budget for this system. After an acceptable project cost was developed by TEP Group, it was given the contract to Design and Supply the complete material handling system for this project. The project was successfully completed in 2009.
