Conewago Contractors, Inc is a family owned and operated company, founded in 1956 by Donald B. Smith, Sr. as a general contracting business. The company grew through the years as a contracting business until 1993 when it underwent reorganization and shed its contracting division to focus exclusively on real estate development and management. It was at this time that its sister company, Conewago Enterprises, Inc, was formed to assume all construction activities and restore Conewago Contractors, Inc.'s working capital for the expansion of its real estate portfolio. In essence, this created two distinct entities focused on their respective industries but brought the benefit of a full service design-build general contractor and real estate developer under related companies. Initially designed as a build-to-suit lease, this car wash was constructed using tilt-up concrete, which gave us greater flexibility in creating its unique facade. This business was later sold to an established car wash operator. Overall, our company represents a group of dedicated managers and staff committed to the service and satisfaction of our tenants. Whether that tenant is a 1,000 square foot occupant in a community shopping center or a 500,000 square foot warehouse tenant, we strive to provide the best value and atmosphere for the operation of their business.
