To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. By submitting this application, you authorize the Credit Union to obtain information necessary to verify your identity. This may include information obtained from consumer reporting agencies, public databases, or other sources. If the Credit Union is unable to verify information you provide, an account may not be opened. The Credit Union reserves the right to close your account if it determines at a later date that it does not know your true identity.Joining is easy! Simply complete the Membership Application and attach the necessary documents as explained on the application. After we process your information, we will mail your account number with a receipt for your initial deposit.
