Description

As CEO and co-founder of ConnectedHealth, John Fiacco is responsible for the Company’s growth strategy, business finances and operations. With 30 years of experience in the health-care data and employee benefits field, John works with the ConnectedHealth Leadership Team in the creation of cutting-edge decision-support tools in these rapidly changing markets. Founded in 2009, and bringing its first products to market a year later, ConnectedHealth has quickly become a leader in providing employers with flexible programs that help employees become healthier and more financially secure.

Prior to starting ConnectedHealth, John served as Senior Vice President at Subimo, a company he co-founded in 2000. Subimo licensed an award-winning suite of health-care decision-support tools to health plans, employers and banks. In 2006, Subimo was acquired by WebMD, where John continued his involvement in business development by leading WebMD’s national employer sales team. Over the course of his career, John has held previous positions at Cigna, Aetna, Caremark, Equifax and Ernst & Young.

Prior to joining ConnectedHealth, Ann was CEO and co-founder of Subimo, which licensed online interactive tools to employers and health plans to improve the health of their constituents and reduce their healthcare expenses. She led Subimo’s management team, raised start-up funds and positioned the company as a market leader in the field of consumerism in healthcare. Subimo was founded in 2000 and acquired by WebMD at the end of 2006. Previously, Ann was Senior Vice President at Sachs Group (now part of Truven Health), the leading provider of healthcare information for health systems.

The tool they built is designed to help consumers better understand how their actual costs and utilization in a given year translated to total costs across several different health plan options: their actual plan and the other plans that had been available to them. The idea was to provide consumers with feedback to help them learn about their past decisions in light of their actual healthcare use, thus helping them make a better choice in future year plan selection decisions. It also has the potential to help consumers model detailed what-if scenarios for future decisions.

David has more than 18 years of experience with new and growing technology companies, ranging from health care to retail. Throughout his career, David led sales, marketing, product management and operations organizations, serving on the leadership teams for multiple technology-enabled businesses. Most recently, he was Vice President at Connextions, where he was responsible for building an early-to-market, under-65, private exchange business.
