Sonia K. González received her Master's of Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in 2003. She has been working on HIV and reproductive health issues for over 15 years. Ms. González has designed and implemented programs, developed organizational strategic plans, planned regional conferences, conducted process evaluation as well as outcome qualitative and quantitative evaluation, and has worked directly with poor urban youth of color, homeless youth, and LGBTQ youth.
CHS consultants are career public health, social justice, and education professionals with many years of collective experience in the field. They are continuously praised for their ability to develop simple and efficient strategies, facilitate meaningful dialogue within and among agencies, and provide quality outcomes-driven products and services while being mindful of each agency’s culture and resources. CHS employs a holistic approach that concentrates on improving systems, infrastructure, and overall organizational health.
“Through most of 2010-2011 I had the pleasure of working with Connected Health Solutions and specifically, Kenny Shults and Imelda Walavalkar. Our organization hired Connected Health Solutions to develop a New Media project with our youth groups, targeting HIV positive young people in our five-clinical-site program between the ages of 15-24. The team from CHS worked with me and my staff to develop a strong program plan using innovative methods and then, worked long hours with our team to pull together a proposal for HHS/HRSA to fund a year-long project with our youth.

Kenny Neal Shults has nearly 20 years of experience working and consulting with service organizations across the country to develop sound, innovative, and respectful strategies for engaging with key populations. Kenny specializes in public health and behavior-change program development surrounding a variety of at-risk populations, including adolescents, men who have sex with men (MSM), intravenous drug users (IDU), homeless and runaway teens, and trans populations.
