Connex Inc. started operations in Pittsburgh, PA in 1974 to serve the North American market. It was moved to Erie, PA in 1979. Our sister company, Connex AG, was founded in Switzerland in 1941. The present day location was opened in Reiden in 1986. Connex Inc. is located in Erie PA, minutes from the Intersections of Interstates 90 & 79. While most of our shipments are delivered via UPS ground or 2nd day air, our market is also served by the Erie International Airport, and the Port of Erie provides ocean freight worldwide via Lake Erie and the St. Lawrence Seaway.
