Connor Building Company has been a leader in the design and construction of Colonial Reproduction and early New England Classic homes for more than thirty years. We have dedicated many years of studying and measuring old houses and drawings to learn the subtle differences that distinguish the old architecture from the new. And we have applied that knowledge to a system that enables us to pre-engineer and pre-build the components of an entire house in our shop, to be shipped to your job site, whether it be across town or across the country. Attention to architectural detail is the hallmark of our work. Proper scale, proportion, and overall balance of design is essential to an authentic Colonial reproduction in which the unmistakable charm and character of an earlier period is preserved. Our exteriors are true to several architectural forms including Georgian, Federal, and Greek Revival. To these authentic exteriors we have designed complementary interior layouts to suit a modern family lifestyle. We also design and build many interior components such as stairs, window seats, paneled walls, etc., all built in our shop for easy and efficient installation at your site.
