The resolution of insurance coverage disputes has become a growing part of our practice at Connor & Connors, P.C. Frequently, our clients have either rental contracts or lessee agreements in which the renter, lease or tenant chose to provide liability insurance coverage for the owner, lessor or landlord. Often two scenarios develop, either the lessee failed to provide the contractually agreed upon insurance coverage or the insurance carrier for the lessee refuses to defend the lessor.
