It's a way of providing financial support for our ability to offer web hosting and design services to non-profit organizations. Most non-profit organizations are local in nature and generally don't have large endowments. They serve small, niche needs and often do so very well. However, because of the nature of their non-profit status, they rarely have much money available for business needs...such as website presences. Connweb's commitment to providing such presences for websites is needed, but as a result it is also difficult to keep it going at times.
