Construction Focus, Incorporated started business in 1994 and has been in continuous operation since that time from our headquarters in Eugene, Oregon. The company began as a one-person operation that provided cost-estimating services only. We now employ four team members, have a more diversified clientele, and we offer a wider range of construction related services. The team members of Construction Focus, Incorporated, have much experience with providing construction cost information and we appreciate the opportunity to apply our years of construction experience to each part of the design process. We take pride in our review of each project from the constructability standpoint while offering suggestions regarding construction methods, efficiency of materials, valued engineering, and logical strategies. We prepare our estimates and proofread the documents as if we were a contractor preparing a bid and responsible for the actual “hands-on” construction. We also maintain a database of regional construction projects and their construction costs. This information is frequently used as comparable data for new projects in much the same way that an appraiser would review similar buildings to arrive at an appraisal. This database of past projects is particularly useful during the early stages of the design process and we find it to be more useful than similar national databases available through bookstores.
