In 1985, Steve joined Consultation Services. At the time, Consultation Services was working with a regional New England financial institution to reorganize itself in order to meet the competition of New York City banks moving into the state following deregulation. Executive Coaching was a central component of the work. As an expert in systems theory Steve consulted with Consultation Services at the bank and with other clients. He became Managing Director in 1988. Since it's beginnings in 1985, Consultation Services has provided consulting services to a wide range of organizations in various industries, including: - consumer goods - entertainment - financial services - healthcare - technology - manufacturing - refining & petrochemicals - non-profit - telecommunications In 1996, Consultation Services accepted it's first international client - EQUATE Petrochemical Co., a start-up manufacturing joint venture owned by Union Carbide Corporation and Petrochemical Industries Company located in Kuwait. The initial assignment was to be for 18 months, but stretched into 4 years as Steve's continuing contributions were essential for the successful start-up and ongoing operation of the venture. Steve decided to leave in May 2000 to return the US.
