The Polep family has been in the business of servicing its customers for over 110 years. This dedication has allowed our company to grow and enter the “ one stop ” supplier arena of Convenience Store distribution. We now provide more than 4,000 customers with the ability to purchase ALL product categories from one supplier.

The Polep family has been in the distribution business for over 110 years. The original company, Polep Tobacco Company, was founded by Charles Polep in 1898 in Salem, Massachusetts.

In keeping up with current market trends as well as listening to the needs of our valuable health conscious consumers, J. Polep has grown to be a premiere Specialty Foods distributor throughout New England. We service some of the most prestigious colleges, top level hospitals, executive dining facilities as well as specialty food shops. Our product line meets the dietary needs and wants of all consumers both mainstream and eclectic alike.

Maybury designed a two-level pick module utilizing Interlake Material Handling’s rack, conveyors, and carton and pallet flow units, integrated with a Maybury mezzanine, and Quantum Conveyor’s automated induction and sortation systems. This module would provide state-of-the-art order picking, accumulation, sortation, and delivery to the loading dock, as well as automated verification of product shipped to our customers.
