Elisa Gutierrez Elisa Gutierrez is an elementary school music teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools. She currently teaches general music at Hunters Woods E.S, in Reston, VA. Elisa received a full music scholarship to West Virginia University for flute musicianship and graduated from WVU with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. She is a member of The National Association for Music Education (MENC), The National Flute Association, and the Flute Society of Washington. Brian Robinson A native of Fairfax, Virginia and a recent graduate of Christopher Newport University with a Masters Degree in Instrumental Music Education, Brian Robinson brings a wealth of talent and musical knowledge to CMC. While at CNU Brian immersed himself in the world of music and was a member of the Wind Ensemble, the Symphonic Band, the Marching Band, the Jazz Ensemble, the Jazz Combo and Sax Quartet. On the current leading edge of music, Brian is anxious to share his love of music and his talent with his students. Buddy Speir Buddy Speir is a talented instructor and gifted musician who enjoys teaching a wide variety of musical styles including rock, metal, jazz, funk and country to all levels of players. Since graduating Cum Laude from Shenandoah University with a degree in Commercial Music, besides teaching, Buddy has also toured the East Coast with popular bands such as Welbilt and Blackjacks playing to audiences from 400 to 40,000. As well as being a session guitarist in the metropolitan D.C. area recording studios, Buddy has also recorded for XM Radio. He has experience in arranging and producing music as well. We certainly welcome Buddy as a new addition to the CMC family. Jinhee Noh Presently a student at George Mason University, Jinhee Noh is an extraordinary talent. Since 2004 Jinhee has been a private instructor in Fairfax. She brings a plethora of performance experience including solo and duo performances and accompaniment performances as well. Christina White Christine White brings a diverse history of musical performance and teaching experience to CMC. As a young girl she began singing in choirs and small ensembles in church as well as performing with several musical traveling groups. While attending college in New York, Christine sang and performed in several traveling musical productions. For the past 18 years she has taught piano and vocal instruction to students ranging from kindergarten to high school. Most recently she has directed four choirs, accompanied both adult and youth church choirs and small ensembles and soloists, and she has helped design a music curriculum. The proud mother of four sons, Christine's teaching style focuses on both the technical and expressive elements of music so that she can give her students a solid foundation and encourage a love for music that lasts a lifetime!
