Continental Structural Plastics (CSP) was founded in 1969 as a plastics manufacturer that supplied compression molding components to the automotive industry. In the late 1960s, we invested in compression molding research and development to refine our composite products and improve our manufacturing techniques. We've progressed by advancing structural composite materials to create innovative design solutions through light-weighting, strengthening and molding techniques.

We believe in close collaboration with our customers to achieve optimum light-weighting results. By offering full-service engineering and design services, we provide an overall system approach that results in the design and production of the highest quality composite components available in the marketplace today.

Decades of experience working with composites combined with our commitment to quality have helped us to achieve zero PPM defects in the manufacturing process. Our products have replaced steel and aluminum in many applications, and offer superior strength-to-weight ratios for customers looking to reduce weight and increase fuel efficiency. With more than 35 patents covering materials development and manufacturing processes, our expert staff is aggressively developing and testing new materials and processes to further improve our products.
