Contractor Sales

Description

Contractor sales is a supplier of quality used heavy equipment and trucks in Southeastern Idaho. Contractor Sales traces it's beginnings to an old D-8 Catepillar clear back in 1960. Dale Kirkham, owner and founder, had some land cleared by a contractor. Several weeks later, he had the chance to buy and old D-8 Catepillar. The purchase price was less than he had paid the contractor to do the work for him. He used the cat and did much more work with it than the contractor did, and later sold it for a profit. Dale found a new passion. Dale bought and sold equipment for years, and finally in 1978 he formed an new company to handle the used equipment part of his business.
