Co-founded in 1974 by Terry L. Prichard and Ernie "Tex" Prichard, a legend in the automotive training business, Control brought low cost, effective training and consulting to the automotive industry. The beginnings saw a very positive response to Control's approach to training and consulting. In 1978, after rapid national growth, Control, Incorporated expanded into international markets. In 2006, Joe Strueby purchased the firm. His 20+ years as a Control consultant ensures consistency in Control’s philosophy and client services. Since Control's inception, the "basics" have guided the company's philosophy. However, Control has been a leader in the industry in repackaging the "basics" to keep up with the changing demands of the marketplace. Results are achieved by the consistent execution of processes. Control installs objectives-based processes in client stores. Then, Control provides the necessary training to prepare employees to properly execute. Consequently, Control clients get results!
