Convenience Electronics, Inc. (CEI) is a minority-owned, small business that manufactures custom computer cables since 1989. CEI provides wiring and cabling solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). CEI specializes in small volume, quick turn around, while producing high quality wire and cable harnesses. Most of our work utilizes semi-automatic machines, which requires skilled labor to finish the product. Convenience Electronics? business philosophy is to provide high quality, timely delivery at a competitive price for a full range of products to OEMs. We are an integral part of our customers? supply chain, adding value and managing the inventory to meet our customers? requirements. We utilize our knowledge of cable connections to continuously improve quality. We evaluate our processes by utilizing Lean Manufacturing to produce a product at a competitive prices. We have been working on our quality program for the last two years with the assistance of Wisconsin Manufacturer Extension Partnership based on ISO 9001:2000. This year we passed quality audits conducted by two large international electronics equipment manufactures. Our products and services can be divided into four categories:
