Steve has 25 years experience as a C.E.O., 30 years heading organizations commercializing software, hardware, and electronics. He has taken technology companies from startup to public, holds several patents, and is an industry entrepreneur and leader in voice technologies, the software, hardware, product design and development, and in forming international alliances with global firms. Over the past 20 years he has led numerous innovations from the idea stage to production and merchandising. Products and technologies from firms he led have captured four Best-of-Show awards. In the 1980’s, Steve invented the world’s first voice input/output hand-held computer (PDA) and the first hand-held computer software to perform automatic voice-to-voice foreign language translation, named by Popular Science as one of the 100 Greatest Achievements in Science and Technology for 1989.
