Cooke Scientific Services (CSS) is an experienced ecological consulting firm that offers a broad spectrum of wetland and stream scientific descriptions and studies. We delineate and inventory wetlands, uplands, and stream corridors; characterize and assess wetlands and streams; and design and monitor wetland and stream mitigations. We assist clients with all aspects of permitting, on city, state, and federal levels. CSS provides in-house services with on-call flexibility to the cities of Issaquah, Woodinville, Bellevue, Duvall, Goldbar, Sultan, Fircrest, and SeaTac. In addition to our other services, we perform third party reviews, verify wetland delineations, review mitigation plans, assist with permitting, supervise and conduct monitoring programs, and provide expert witness testimony as needed. Many newly incorporated cities throughout the Puget Sound face federal and state requirements for environmental review. CSS can provide these services at reasonable fees. As a small, respected, and responsive firm, we often work in teams with other engineering and consulting firms to complete large, complex projects. CSS has worked with and for private and corporate property-owners, citizens' and developers' organizations, schools and utilities, and Native American tribes. We have an excellent reputation throughout the region for our depth of knowledge, our high rate of verifiable wetland boundaries, and our successful wetland mitigation designs and installations.
