Description

This one-of-a-kind exhibition drag racing vehicle,is a scaled school bus, hand crafted by Ken Nelson. At 20 feet long 6 feet wide,and 6 feet high,it is believed to be the LONGEST WHEELBASED WHEELSTANDER ever created. The highly detailed body,hand crafted by Ken,is built of aluminum and fiberglass.All lights and flashers operate in the same manner as a real school bus.The body is painted regulation yellow and black with details. The chassis is constructed of steel tubing and meets all NHRA and IHRA safety specifications.These specifications include a full roll cage,safty harness,emergency shut-off switch and other such items. The "COOL BUS" wheelstander is powered by a rear mounted,alcohol fueled,blown and injected big block Chevrolet angine which produces around 1000 Horsepower.The power is transfered to the rear wheels through a GM 400 Turbo transmission,into a transfer case,then into a full floating rear-end.
