Cooper Environmental Services LLC (CES) provides innovative scientific instruments and technical consulting for complex air quality issues, specializing in the measurement of metals in industrial emissions and ambient air. CES employs eight staff members, each with highly technical backgrounds (e.g., one Ph.D., two M.S. and five B.S. degrees) and years of experience working in relevant fields. CES has been in operation since 1996 and was recently awarded EPA's Clean Air Excellence Award for development of a multi-metal continuous emissions monitor. CES was also recently awarded a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) award from the EPA to study performance of the monitor at a coal-fired power plant.
