Have lunch at an alley cafe, market place or bagel shop. Dine on the lakefront, in a boatyard, bistro or the Otesaga Hotel. Have an old fashioned doughnut at the bakery, ice cold cappuccino at the coffee shop, home made ice cream in the lane. Rent a bicycle for two or a canoe. Take a walk through Lakefront Park to see the ducks or cruise around the lake on the Glimmerglass Queen. Hop aboard the train for a scenic ride through the countryside. Stroll through the village to see the beautiful historic homes. Come at Christmas time to see the exquisite light displays on Main Street and all around the village. Snuggle up under a blanket on a sleigh ride and visit Santa Claus' cottage. And when you're tired and need to rest, come to the Cooperstown Bed and Breakfast, a big old Victorian home with lots of charm, front porch with wicker, balcony with soft candlelight, large queen sized rooms and suites with private baths and air conditioning, one room is fully handicapped accessible. A full breakfast buffet with homemade scones, cinnamon buns, waffles, sausage, bacon, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and juices is served from 8 AM to 10 AM. There are also afternoon and evening refreshment with fresh baked cookies, fruit and cheese.
