Who We Are After working for several successful architectural firms for over 19 years, Copeland Architecture's founder, Edward L. Copeland, AIA began independently servicing clients in 2000. Today, the firm provides a wide variety of services from designing a new facility's logo to long-range master plans. Copeland Architecture's hands-on approach to every project includes utilizing what we feel are the latest software technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) to capture and analyze designs in 3D. Philosophy We believe that a building is more than just a structure.

New Retail Center Design, Interior Design and Space Planning Duluth, Georgia A neglected parcel of land reclaimed to provide needed services in this growing community. Architectural theme set the precedent for subsequent buildings on adjacent parcels. Variations in the brick coursing and simple ornamental iron work add inexpensive yet interesting detail. A patio is integrated at one end to provide outdoor space for a major tenant.

Edward L. Copeland, AIA, NCARB A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee and a Cherokee descendant, Edward "Eddy" Copeland began his architectural career in Knoxville, Tennessee. He started as a sales and design consultant for the world's largest manufacturer of wood-framed geodesic domes at that time, Cathedralite Domes, a Buckminster Fuller guided company. After moving to Atlanta in 1982, he began developing his skills as a designer, programmer, and planner of health care oriented facilities.
