James L. Copell is Founder and Chairman of Copell Financial LLC. Jim has a fourteen year Wall Street investment background in deep fundamental analysis, industry analysis, economic analysis, management team evaluation and equity trading strategies. He is a published financial writer and author of "The Coming Week" in the financial markets. Prior to forming Copell Financial LLC he was an integral part of Bear Stearns NYSE trading operation with direct responsibility for over-seeing the trading activity in 20-50 stocks daily. Jim was recruited by Bear Stearns from the independent NYSE Member Firm SGI LLC where his skills were utilized in a similar capacity. Prior to his 7 year NYSE career he was an associate at Wheat, First, Butcher, Singer where he was responsible for in-depth fundamental analysis, including industry and management team analysis. He specialized in large to mid cap stock selection. His Wall Street career began with Americorp Securities where he focused on small company research. He was quickly acknowledged for his efforts and was the recipient of the "Chairman's Award" within his first full year on Wall Street.
