Description

Lena is a Los Angeles native and holds a Master of Physical Therapy degree from California State University Northridge and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet Performance and Teaching from the University of Utah in association with Ballet West. She has been a dancer of ballet and various other styles for over 20 years and has trained and performed across the country and abroad, including San Francisco, NYC, Amsterdam, Seoul, Brazil, and Argentina. In order to perform at high physical demands, it was necessary rehabilitate from various injuries and to maintain balance and conditioning in the body to prevent them. Lena has experienced the great value of receiving physical therapy and Pilates training. This inspired her to provide physical therapy to others, guide people the process, and to reach their performance goals, by incorporating new methods and effective approaches that she enthusiastically continues to learn. Lena has taken coursework in Pilates Mat and Reformer, Redcord Active and Corrective, and Neurac I.

Lindsay was born and raised in Washington State with an eye for athleticism from a very young age, competing in gymnastics, volleyball, soccer and softball. After 4 years of studying Forensic Psychology on the island of Oahu, she decided to completely uproot and change gears by moving to Los Angeles where she fell in love with the Pilates method. Already working as a makeup artist, she felt as though she needed another unstable job to go with her current unstable job, so she decided to become a Pilates instructor and eventually went full time. Lindsay is certified through Balance Body at Core Conditioning and has been teaching for over 5 years. She also trains as a boxer out of Freddie Roach’s world famous Wild Card boxing gym and is currently preparing for her first amateur fight.

Morovati Wellness Center offers comprehensive traditional chiropractic and holistic health with incorporation of the latest technology in non-invasive pain management, including the Acuscope. We specialize in Myofascial pain and Trigger Point Therapy. Our average length of care for most conditions is 4-6 treatments. We pride ourselves in prompt resolution of symptoms. We do not employ prolonged, unproductive care. We are well rooted within the community being on staff at Glendale Memorial Medical Center, past staff members at Cedars Sinai Medical Pain Center, as well as several local Independent Physician’s Associations.

Allyson L. Cabot is a co-owner of Core Conditioning. For the past 14 years, she has worked to develop educational programs for health care professionals integrating Pilates and rehabilitation. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1991 and is certified in Pilates, Gyrotonic®, Redcord®, Neurac, and Corealign®. Allyson holds a B.S. in Physical Therapy from CSULB, a B.S. in Kinesiology from UCLA. She brings to her practice a unique background in mind-body fitness, drawing upon much of her own personal experiences in sports and fitness. Allyson practices Visceral and CranioSacral Therapy in addition to her diverse background in manual orthopedics, women's health and neurological rehabilitation. She has been a member of the APTA for more than 20 years.
